Lois,

Some very good work to date and you have made excellent progress in your research and planning work. A few points for you to consider:

1 - I have added a comment to your initial ideas statement for you to review;

2 - In your magazine industry post, you need to discuss a little bit about the current trends - how the industry is changing, adapting to then needs of the consumer, integrating technology etc. You have everything else but this is missing.

3 - Magazine case study - add a few more images of some example products from Wonderland magazine and you could also add a few more statistics and information from their media kit, and a bit more information on digital convergence (integration of technology).

4 - I want you to separate out some of the posts. You have integrated all of you research work into one post and this needs to be divided up. Put the front cover analysis posts together, contents analysis together, DPS analysis together and have each of the magazine industry, publishers (which is missing from your blog) and case study posts all as separate posts. Will look better and also make it easier to mark and comment on.

5 - You are a few posts missing still - magazine publishers, you only have your font mood board uploaded and no main task questionnaire. I am sure that this work is completed but it needs to go onto your blog ASAP.

You Xmas task is to go through any missing posts and complete them ASAP. I will discuss this in class before we finish but when we come back all the research and planning should be completed.
