Colour Board
This is the color board for my magazine, the colors that I've gone with are various shades of blue, teal and black i think that these shades all go together well to have a formal yet stylish magazine theme, they don't stand straight out and send a immature vibe to the reader, but they don't hide away and make the magazine lack individuality. Also these colours don't have a direct gender link- like my magazine whereas bright pink and purple shades would make the assumption that the target audience would be young females. And colours such as dark red, dark green and browns would make it look targetted towards males, so i went with colours that don't specifically correlate with a gender so it reaches my full target auudience.

Target audience mood board
This is my target audience mood board, it targets my demographic which is students and casual workers, my psycho graphic which is main streamer conventional youths who would indulge in mainstream media. The pictures that i have included are the events and music/food that my target audience might indulge in amongst these are brands such as starbucks, Zara, wagamamas and Twitter, these are things which are deemed mainstream and all target directly students. Society has been shaped in the 21st century to most people under the age of 21 spending more time behind screens than anything else and social networking sites have over run the world. Twitter and Instagram being aimed mostly towards student it would fit in perfectly for my target audience, i also put in a record player, earphones and a festival because my magazine has a lot of music content, it being a music magazine so this is a clear example of what they would be doing in their spare time.
